Stags Leap is the go-to source for “iron fist in a velvet glove” Cabernet Sauvignon and Martin Ray doesn’t pull any punches. There is so much quality for the price point here. Sourced from a collection of tiny vineyard blocks, all carefully planted to optimize sun exposure and ripening, this is filled with ripe, juicy raspberry, vibrant cherry, a hint of tea and pepper on the finish. Lovely and intense now, but better get a second bottle to tuck away for a year or two.

Deep and manicured with blueberry and blackberry aromas and flavors. Full-bodied and tight with super polished tannins and a tight, racy finish. Beautifully crafted tannins make this exciting. Better after 2022, but already beautiful.
